    Jahnavi’s neighbors brought her to a church that is World Challenge’s partner because she was demon possessed. Her family had ignored the issue, simply ascribing her strange behavior to a spiritual affliction from one of their thousands of gods.

    Local ministries are reaching out to the abandoned and ignored in the United States with food and community.

    Every Friday, World Challenge’s partners in Florida, Sharing Hope, prepare lunches and pack bags of groceries with canned goods, fruit, vegetables, bread and pastries. They also prepare 50 bags of children’s lunches with hot dogs, juice, fruit and other goodies.

    Bishop Emile helps to manage and disciple the leaders of 50 churches in and around the city of Ngozi in Burundi. He also personally leads a church of about 1,500 members.
