God’s Process for Peace - Part 1

Listen to podcast audio:

Learning and personal growth is a process, and it take times. Simply put, there are some things we can learn best through life experiences. This week, Keith Holloway explores the process God can use to help us move toward peace.

Key Points from the Podcast

  • Keith Holloway shares how God used the life of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 to help him find God’s peace as he went through a difficult season in life.

  • When you face a problem, think through what is happening so that you can get to the root issue rather than just dealing with symptoms.

  • Take your problems to God in prayer and ask him to help you understand and endure.

  • During difficulties, we must remember that God is in control. When we forget who God is, we can be tempted to give into fear, doubt, and unbelief. God is who he says he is and will do what he says he will do.

  • God is a personal God. He created you. You are his and he is yours.

  • The faith we receive through prayer should move us to proclamation, declaring that no matter how difficult the situation may get we will not give up or turn back.

  • As you seek God in your trials, God’s presence will come and refresh you and fill you with power.
