After a violent earthquake shook Myanmar in late March, World Challenge and its partners gave water, food, and shelter to many. Praise God that more than 400 orphans under our care are safe!

In Central Asia, we’ve started ministering to 100 orphaned girls, some as young as 6. Please pray for our partners on the ground overseeing this orphanage who face the threat of persecution.

Crucial ministry to orphans is also underway in Pakistan, where we care for 125 orphans. Only about 1% of the people in this nation are Christian, making ministry challenging.

We helped girls ages 9 to 17 recover from the trauma of sex trafficking in a poor area of Lima, Peru. The girls came from extreme situations, some involving their own families trafficking them. A care home offers them safety and, most importantly, God’s love.
