Timothy Myeni, the Nkilongo Member of eSwatini’s parliament, bluntly stated to their prime minister on March 31st, “We are living in fear, violence is escalating in this country and we don’t know what will happen tomorrow.”

Kicking a drug addiction is one of the hardest struggles a person can face, but no obstacle is too great for the redeeming power of Christ.

Thabani was already regularly drinking alcohol when he was introduced to something ‘even better’: marijuana. Like many people his age, he began routinely smoking. “Alcohol and marijuana were the order of the day in my life,” he explained. “Marijuana would make me feel at ease. I enjoyed every day with a joint in my hand.”

More than one in every four people is carrying a persistent and deadly disease in Eswatini. “Despite its small population size,” Avert reported, “Eswatini has the highest HIV prevalence in the world and has been greatly affected by the epidemic.”

Simiso grew up in a small village in the Shiselweni region of Eswatini. His mother raised him alone, though she told him who his father was, and he was able to get to know some of his father’s family.
