Tim Dilena joins the Gary Wilkerson Podcast to discuss the reasons for concern and the reasons for hope in today’s church. He explains how God works through pastors and spiritual leaders to revive the church and bring it back to its moral foundation.
Key Points from the Podcast
Pastor Tim Dilena discusses making the transition from being a local pastor to taking on the mantle from Carter Conlon and David Wilkerson of leading Times Square Church, a church with an international reach and impact.
Gary Wilkerson and Tim Dilena are both optimistic men but are gravely concerned about the trajectory of the modern Christian church.
God wants the church of Jesus Christ to repent, crush its religious idols, and come back to a place of exalting God.
When the church has made an unhealthy pendulum swing, it needs voices to speak up and help bring it back to a healthy place.
Modern legislation is legalizing and affirming sin, but Tim Dilena feels this will quickly bring people to a dead end, which God will use to draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ.
In the Book of Acts, the apostles never found favor with the government but with the people, and the church multiplied.
