World Challenge Missions

Missions, Outreach Ministries, and Charitable Works

For more than 30 years, the ministry of World Challenge Missions has been primarily an untold story. Quietly, yet effectively, we have been working around the world in the name of Jesus to bring love, light and life to the most troubled and needy areas. We are committed to model the ministry of Jesus as He tells us not to 'blow a trumpet' when we do good works in His name. But we would very much like to inform all who have helped us and prayed for us of the mighty things the Lord has done over the last few years. Through our partnership with you, World Challenge now has ministries serving the poorest of the poor in many parts of the world, touching hundreds of thousands of lives each day.

The work of World Challenge Missions has great personal significance to me. I thank God I grew up in an environment of faith. When the world said that inner city gang members in New York City were too far gone and could never be changed, my father chose to believe God rather than man. He reached into the lives of young people like Nicky Cruz. When the Government did a vast study of Heroin addiction and concluded there was no known cure for the problem, I saw my father take a stand and say nothing is impossible with God. He launched Teen Challenge, which has now impacted multitudes in nations throughout the world. Starving children. Homeless widows in war torn countries. Unreached millions. Entire nations famished for the word of God. When the needs of so many suffering people in so many nations seemed too big, too overwhelming and too impossible, I saw my father rise up in faith to establish the ministry of World Challenge.

I join him in this effort with all my heart. God seems to love to venture into the areas man deems impossible. We thank you for joining with us where God leads. Here are just a few samples of the many ministries World Challenge conducts and supports around the globe. Your prayers of faith for the impossible, your continued gifts of faith and your participation with World Challenge has once again proven that in the name of Jesus, truly all things are possible.
