COVER LETTER

August 15, 2005

Dearly Beloved:

GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU.

World Challenge is an evangelistic and missions ministry that I incorporated in 1971. It has been my covering for over 34 years. World Challenge has now spread throughout the United States and around the world, supporting ministries to orphans, the fatherless, widows, unwed mothers, drug addicts, alcoholics and the homeless; feeding thousands of children through feeding programs; building churches, medical clinics, schools and houses in needy areas around the globe.

We have supported many of these ministries for years, some for over three decades. These are not one-time gifts, but regular monthly support. Unless designated, all gifts and offerings mailed to us go into a general fund and are distributed among all these outreaches. A single gift to World Challenge is shared by a multiple of needy ministries.

Eighteen years ago, the Holy Spirit led me to establish a church in the heart of Times Square. Times Square Church was an outreach initially financed by World Challenge. From the beginning, I promised our church I would never leave it, and I still serve as founder and father to this congregation. My commitment is as strong today as when I first made it. Times Square Church is a vibrant ministry reaching thousands, with its own missions outreaches in New York and around the world.

The sermons I send you every three weeks are preached in pulpits around the world. That is why I recently changed the name of my newsletter from Times Square Church Pulpit Series to David Wilkerson Pulpit Series. To find out where my son Gary and I are ministering worldwide, you may visit my personal website at www.davidwilkerson.org. We need your prayers for these conferences.

All support for World Challenge missions and all orders for my books, tapes and messages should be sent to our Texas office or through our website at www.worldchallenge.org. I maintain offices in Lindale, Texas, because it is so much cheaper to operate from that base.

If you have been on my mailing list for any length of time, you know I have never spoken much about money and I’ve never pleaded for funds. But I do want you to know we do need the regular monthly support of caring friends because of our ongoing support of all these very worthy missions outreaches. Even our widows and fatherless children’s fund requires thousands of dollars every month. Your support is truly needed, and we do our utmost to make your gifts truly count for the Kingdom.

His bondservant,
DAVID WILKERSON
