COVER LETTER

May 1, 2006

Dearly Beloved:

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD.

We are much encouraged by the reports coming to us from around the world about the results of our missions outreaches. In the tsunami regions, many houses and schools and some churches have been built. These homes and building projects are closely managed by dedicated missionaries and godly local pastors. Every dollar that was designated for tsunami relief has been given, with no expense withheld by us.

Our support for the fatherless now extends to orphanages around the world. Through funds sent to our ministry, God has enabled us to help supply these needy groups with regular, ongoing support, providing food, supporting staff and repairing decaying facilities.

Month after month, God sends our ministry enough to feed thousands of undernourished children, and support for our widows and orphans programs. We marvel at the faithfulness of the Lord. Truly he is Father to the fatherless, and he uses people to be his outstretched arms. God uses people to comfort and refresh other people.

Our home for drug-addicted mothers and their children is being mightily used of the Lord. While the mothers are recovering and being taught to serve Christ and to raise a family righteously, their children are being home-schooled by caring teachers. There are 70 residents at this time. It is truly a ministry of miracles.

We have been a mission of compassion now for over 40 years, and it has always been undertaken by faith alone. God has never once failed, and every need is met week by week. As I’ve said before, we are only one of many ministries doing the works of Christ around the world. All such mission outreaches pose to a skeptical world that Americans do care. This country is the most caring, giving nation on earth.

We are called to serve you also. We can do that by sincere prayer with you about your trials and concerns. When a prayer need is sent to us, it is first prayed over by our office staff. Those requests for prayer are then boxed and prayed over by the congregation at Times Square Church. All letters and comments mentioning special needs are read by my daughters, who underline them and refer them to my wife, Gwen, and to me. Much prayer goes up for every need mentioned.

Your letters and comments are a true blessing and encouragement to us.

Love in Christ,
DAVID WILKERSON
