Egypt 2010 Conference Report
For many years Christian pastors in Egypt asked for a conference where they could bring their wives. This longing became a reality in February when World Challenge conducted a conference for Egyptian pastors and their wives in Wadi el-Natroun.
With pastors in Egypt facing financial, social and religious pressures, many attendees came with a heavy load on their shoulders. Some were utterly drained, while others had been slowly losing hope or vision. They were in great need of special, intimate time with the Lord, and that is exactly what God granted them during this conference.
The Holy Spirit used Pastors Gary Wilkerson and Claude Houde to minister to these men as well as their wives, with anointed messages addressing their deep needs. The prayer times that followed were stirring as many sought the Lord earnestly. As these servants of God experienced the Lord’s presence, they bonded with each other as well as with the speakers.
Pastors left the conference feeling refreshed in their souls, strengthened in spirit and renewed in hope and faith. Many expressed how the gathering provided a divine rekindling of a flame that was about to be extinguished. It was a much-needed refresher that, for many pastors, came just in time.
World Challenge wishes to thank you for your support of our overseas missions, in prayer and in giving. With your help, dedicated servants of God – men and women doing difficult work in difficult places – are being encouraged and recharged for the journey.

Our policy is that all gifts designated for a specific project be applied to that project. Occasionally we receive more funds than can be wisely used for the designated project. When that happens, we use those funds to meet other similar pressing needs in the same country to advance the gospel.
