Haiti 2009 Conference Report
It is with immense gratitude and joy that we write this brief report on the beautiful World Challenge conference that took place in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, May 27th – 29th, 2009.
The Fruits of Their Labor
06/18/2009 — Charles WeaverWe were traveling by SUV over the worst roads I’ve ever been on; up and over mountains which had very little vegetation or soil due to massive deforestation. Haiti is typically known as the poorest country in the western hemisphere, with two-thirds of its population not having a formal job; but we had traveled there to visit a few programs that were making tremendous strides in reaching communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in training its people how to change the health of their community in spite of apparent lack of resources.
Haiti 2009 – Thank You For Your Prayers
06/09/2009 — Christopher R. WiggintonThank you for praying for the Haiti pastors’ conference.
Many pastors, denominational leaders and superintendents talked about the conference as a divine moment and in terms of "before and after." The conference changed their lives and renewed their passion to serve the Lord together across denominational lines in Haiti.
Many have traveled far and wide from all over the country.
The preaching of the word was powerful, the worship was amazing and prayer was thunderous.
Please Pray for Conference in Haiti
05/25/2009 — Bettina MarayagOnce again we are asking for prayer. Please pray for Pastors Gary Wilkerson, Claude Houde, and their team. Also pray for the pastors and leaders of Haiti.

Our policy is that all gifts designated for a specific project be applied to that project. Occasionally we receive more funds than can be wisely used for the designated project. When that happens, we use those funds to meet other similar pressing needs in the same country to advance the gospel.
