Why Pastors' Conferences?

People have often wondered why we don't televise our ministry nationally. They ask, "Wouldn't you have a greater impact if you became more visible and spoke to a larger audience? Why the emphasis on pastors and leaders at your Renewing Your Passion for Christ conferences?" There are several reasons why we've placed our energies and emphasis on speaking to pastors and other leaders in the church:

Young People Drawn to Hear David Wilkerson

Over 1200 people attended David Wilkerson's Ministers' Conference on September 11-13, 2003 in Prague, Czech Republic. The group included pastors, spouses, youth leaders and ministry leaders. However, the meetings were invaded by many young people. It seems that anywhere Rev. Wilkerson goes, the young people come, hungry to hear the word of God.

Over 2,300 pastors and leaders attended David Wilkerson's Ministers Conference on September 6th in Quebec, Canada. More pastors and leaders were present than expected. Rev. Wilkerson preached on intimacy with God, prayer and the fasting that is pleasing to God. Many were touched. "I cried the entire time Bother Dave was speaking. I was not alone. Many people were deeply moved. Hundreds were crying and under conviction through the entire service. Brother Dave really imparted a strong message that morning."
