The Son of Man

When we get a glimpse of the Son of Man we will see the heart of God bowed down to reach the needs of humankind. Jesus reveals to us what God looks like and shows us what it means to be in covenant relationship with Him. We will see the Son of Man bowed down in humility as a servant. The Son of Man comes in power and confrontation to release the bonds of those who are afflicted. The Son of Man lays His life down and becomes our righteousness to cover our sin. Do you know Jesus as the Son of Man and will you follow Him?

The Great Temptation

The greatest temptation in our generation is prosperity because under the circumstances of prosperity we forget the Lord. Prosperity tends to lead us into thinking we can walk in our own strength. We must humble ourselves in the prayer closet and begin to commune with God. When we put Christ in the right place we can endure every temptation and trial.

The Community of the Cross

There is a real war going on and many of us are feeling the affects of it. In order for us to get on the victory side of this war we must accept Jesus' invitation to share a personal relationship with Him. When we receive this offer we are on the side where we can take the victory. In the presence of our enemies and in the midst of our struggles God will prepare a table for us. This is the communion table where, because of His shed blood, He has provided all the nutrients and strength for us. We need to see this in the dark times.

Victory Over Temptation

The enemy of our souls would have us believe that the deck is stacked against us in this society. We are expected to believe that we are overwhelmed by the philosophy of this age. However, Jesus, in teaching us how to address God, also exposed us to the blessings and benefits that He won for us on Calvary. In Him, we realize that everything that we need to overcome temptation is found in our communion with God.

A Song in the Night

When we as Christians are in a deep dungeon and a dark prison we simply need to raise up our hands and begin to sing a song in the darkness of night. When the people of God begin to sing prison doors will fly open. The demons who hear this song will have to let go of their hold. This song will begin to shake every foundation of UNBELIEF and DECEPTION. When the people of God begin to sing their song God will use it to be a witness in the lives of those around us.

The Zeal of the Lord

No matter what the devil throws at us God's church will prevail. We must never surrender to the lies of the devil and allow him to take the ministry and the gifts that God has given us to use for his evil purposes. When the enemy comes in like a flood run into your prayer closet and remind yourself of the promises of God. God will reveal Himself to us and show us that no matter how dark it looks and how bleak the times are God has chosen to glorify His name through His church who call on His name. God draws us into His covenant and covers us through His mercy and faithfulness.

Death Valley Revival

Can the person who seems so far away from God be miraculously saved so they never go back to their sin again. Can a person who once walked with God and has drifted away from Him leaving them in death and despair be revived again? Can these bones live? The answer is YES because God has determined to be merciful and forgive. God will begin to stir His people again and cause us to believe for a revival in Death Valley. When we remind ourselves of what God has done in the past, we can pray in faith believing Him to do the miraculous in the future.

The God of the Second Chance

God is calling us to celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus in our wilderness experiences. He calls us to celebrate Jesus in the midst of our disappointments and pain. When we have a bad doctor's report, experience betrayal, hardships, or we begin to compromise with the things of the world, we will find it hard to lift up our hands to praise Him. God will stop heaven and earth to get you back to a place of worship and trust. He can turn every situation around for the good. He is the God of the second chance.

Son, Stand Still

What kind of prayer would cause the Son of God to be stopped in His tracks? You will find many types of prayer in the gospel of Luke and the eighteenth chapter, but there is only one prayer that caused Jesus to stand still. This type of prayer begins in the heart of a beggar. It's a heart that understands its utter and dyer need. This is the heart that cries out in faith "Jesus Son of David have Mercy on me!" God's responds to this cry because His heart is filled with mercy and grace. We don't have to wrestle a blessing from God.
