The inability to share Christ is rooted in a lack of love for people and unbelief. So many are fearful to share Christ because they don't believe that Jesus will miraculously come through. The Lord will keep us held in a difficult situation until He puts a boldness in our heart through a difficult trial. What God says - He will do. This truth has to be worked into the fiber and fabric of our being.

There is a difference between hearing what someone is saying and actually listening to them. If we are following our own agenda we will end up with a distorted perception of God and we will be made deaf to His truth. In parts of our hearts there can be areas of prejudice that results in an inability to receive truth from certain vessels. God is prompting us to prepare our hearts to listen to what His Spirit is saying regardless of who is speaking. The voice of Jesus warms our hearts and produces soil that hears the word of God and receives it.

 When we cry out to God to rise up and scatter our enemies this can be a dangerous prayer. If we want the presence of God, and ask Him to advance against our enemies, God will begin to reveal the enemies that are still resident in our hearts. We must allow the Holy Spirit to deal with the issues that keep His presence away from us. God is Holy and He can only dwell with clean hands and a pure heart.
 

It is imperative that the Holy Spirit lead us into times of conflict to increase our faith for the coming days. It is in these conflicts that God will drive out all doubt and unbelief. As God allows these conflicts to rise up into our souls He will sit and watch over us. He promises never to be far from us, and at exactly the right time He will bring us out with an unshakable faith.

God will defend His people when the enemy comes against us. It is important in these times of intimidation in an unsaved environment that we don't gossip or allow bitterness to take root in our hearts. God wants His people to be unmoved by the powers of darkness so we will be strengthened to reflect to others His Character. God will pour out an anointing of grace and supplications to stand face to face against the enemy's pressure and He will enable us to pray for our persecutors.

When we have outlived our youthfulness we begin to ask ourselves if we outlived our usefulness. When we lose our independence there is loneliness and discouragement that sets into the heart as we begin to grow old. God does not forget us when we are old. He promises never to leave us or forsake us even in our old age.

The mystery of iniquity begins its work in our heart when we disagree with what God is saying to us. This is where the spirit of lawlesness has its first entrance. This spirit produces a hardness of heart and unbelief will set in. We must choose to walk under authority. As we submit and keenly listen and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit our heart will remain soft and pliable in the Lord's hand.
