The King Within

This message is for those who are in an intense unseen battle. You know that God has called you and loves you but you find yourself for a season in an extremely lonely and vulnerable place. Like King David you are sent to "lion and bear country". When you put your life in God's hands it draws the attack of the lion and the bear. Except the Lord show up we will be devoured. In this solitary unseen place there is evidence that God is with us because when the lion and the bear show up so does He!

The Consolation and Comfort of David

Before anyone ever knew us or saw our face, God knew us in the most intimate of ways. God sees everything in our life as it truly is, and yet He does not withdraw His hand from us. Even if we make our bed in hell He is there with us and does not despise our failures but desires to deliver us from every stronghold that has us gripped with darkness. We can close our eyes in our worst nightmare and we will still see His face. It does not matter how disappointed we feel about ourselves we cannot squander the revelation that God loves us.

Small Things Are Big Things

There is no such thing as small things when it comes to spiritual things. God deposits a mustard seed of faith in us. When we trust Him and bring the little we have, it can grow into a marvelous harvest for His Kingdom. Do not despise small beginnings, for God is able to make all things grow for His glory. There are also seemingly small issues in our heart which, when not dealt with, can produce a harvest of darkness — small grievances, envy, and the inability to be happy when others are blessed. Small things never stay small.

How Rich Will You Be When You Die?

When we come to the end of our life would we have given our heavenly Father joy because we received the gift of His Son and then passed it on to others? Do we recognize that the Fathers greatest joy is to give us the life of His Son so that we can be given for others. God's life is transferred to us through Jesus Christ's death on the Cross. Because of the Cross we are given new life and new hope for all of eternity. God is calling us to reign with Him and to bring His joy to others.

The Testimony of an Undefeated Man

In the last hour of time the church must be gripped by the Holy Spirit so God can have full control over our flesh. We have all been through betrayals, injustices and rejection, yet in Christ God calls us mighty. As we fix our heart on Jesus. We begin to understand that the victory comes from God alone. God wants to give us an undefeated testimony. His Spirit comes upon us and reveals the life of Christ in us and we are supernaturally led into victory. We cannot add anything else to what Christ has already done for us.

God’s Purpose For Mercy

If God chooses to be merciful to a people it is for an intended purpose. When we begin to live in compromise and unbelief we will end up dry, hopeless and cut off from the power of God. When God chooses to be merciful He will visit those in a valley of hopelessness, stripped of power and seemingly dead, and cause breath to enter them and they will rise an exceedingly great army. The logical end of mercy is a people standing and living for the glory of God. Mercy can and will begin to rewrite our life!

The Lord Will Visit This House

Spiritual vision is not an easy thing to have. It requires deep dealings in our life and an openness of heart. When God is longing to visit His people He must find a people that would give Him total access and would cry, "God show me all that hinders the flow of your presence in my life." God wants to give us a vision of His holiness and He wants to speak to us about all that is unlike Him. It is the mercy of God that lets us hear what we need to hear. There is something beautiful about a heart in total agreement with God.

Say Goodbye to Captivity - Part 2

The Word of the Lord for 2009 is, "go forward" and say goodbye to captivity. Jesus will begin to curse deep rooted sin, deep rooted prayerlessness and powerlessness. We will be given power to speak to every mountain of impossibility because Jesus cursed the root of it! This is our time to believe that in the 2009 we will say goodbye to everything that has held us captive. It is time for the church to "go forward" into the miraculous!
