The Lord's Comforts Delight My Soul by Teresa Conlon

Released From A Sense Of Failure

It is a common occurrence for Christians to battle a sense of failure. This feeling is aided by our adversary, Satan. Satan is the ultimate failure. He chose ruin, sin and rebellion and was cast out of God's presence. He is a complete failure of the grace of God. We as Christians have a perfect redeemer, living inside of us, who never fails. All who trust Christ are not failures. He will spread His cloak of perfection over us and keep us from falling into utter ruin. We are reminded today that perfect love that never fails.

Behold The Man

There is a plague of modern man which is a growing apathy that is taking over humanity. It's a growing indifference in the heart of man one to another. A growing coldness to those who are suffering around us. The bible says in the end times a gross darkness will cover the earth and part of what will fuel that darkness is an indifference to the suffering around us. In the last days there is going to be a compassionate church who will behold the man and remember a Savior who suffered for all of humanity and entered into every pain and injustice that we would ever go through.

The Lord Loves the One He Chastens

We are not to despise the chastening of the Lord. There is no one who escapes the Lord's correction and discipline. It is important not to faint or give way to the enemy when we are in a season of chastening. God will cause us to endure so we don’t break relationship with Him. This message reminds us not to just listen to God but to do what He is asking us to do. The power to obey comes from our love relationship with the Father. He is patient with us until His will becomes our will and we get back on track with Him.

Are You Called to Ministry?

The answer to this question is yes. We are saved to serve. We will never know the fullness of Christ until we say yes to our calling. We must recognize that God is the one who calls us and He is also the one who equips us and enables us to serve. We are set apart for God rather than for living for ourselves. And the gifts given to us by God are to be used for the benefit of others. This message encourages us to accept our calling with a glad surrender. When we live our lives for the betterment of others we have answered the call to ministry.

When Life Seems Complicated

It can be hard for us to understand the simplicity and power of Christ when our life seems so complicated. You may be feeling guilty angry and condemned. You may be asking yourself how did my life get so complicated? Many times we cannot believe or receive what God has done and will continue to do for us because of the lies of the enemy. God calls us to begin to agree with His plan and His desires for our life. Don't be pushed away from His amazing Grace. His love will never fail you. It doesn't matter how complicated your life seems right now God will keep His promises to you!

Don’t Miss This

If the Lord asked you if you trust Him what would your answer be? Have you believed the lie that your situation is too overwhelming to trust God?

Be Strong and Very Courageous for You are Living in Joshua's Time

God is well able to give you complete spiritual victory. If you are going through a wilderness experience, the Word of the Lord to you is be strong and be very courageous. We have the promises and provision of God to keep us from taking the imprint of the world. The only thing that dies in the wilderness is unbelief. We will not be defeated by despair and fear because God’s promises give us all the strength and courage we need. We must be a people who will turn to the Word of the Lord and trust Him to bring us into the Promised Land.

Why You Won't Quit

There will be many seasons in our life when our heart becomes heavy and we are tempted to draw back from what the Lord is calling us to do. When you get tempted to quit, fix your eyes on Jesus, our Savior, who was crucified with His arms open wide so He could embrace humanity. Whenever times get rough allow the Cross to lead you to a totally surrendered life. The ability not to quit comes from the power of the Cross. We don't give up because in the deepest part of our suffering Jesus is there and He promises never to leave us. We are called to make an imprint of freedom for next generation.

The Lord's Comforts Delight My Soul

It doesn't matter how high the tides of anxiety rise, the Lord has made provision to comfort and delight our soul. How does Jesus break through an anxious and distracted heart? He speaks the same word to you that He spoke to Martha, “one thing is needful”. What did He mean by this?
