A Fresh Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
When God breathes the breath of his Spirit, everyone knows he has come. Luke, the author of Acts, writes, “Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind” (Acts 2:2). I like a different translation of this last phrase, calling it “a strong wind, a blast.”
According to this verse, God’s breath came at Pentecost with a “sound from heaven.” Luke says this sound was mighty, rushing, filling the whole atmosphere: “It filled all the house where they were sitting” (2:2).

Dearly Beloved:
GOD IS STILL KING OF THE FLOODS.
The Psalmist writes, “The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves” (Psalm 93:3).
The floods represent the rising waters of afflictions, the overwhelming crises that are coming on the earth affecting multitudes. This is the flood of unemployment, housing nightmares, ever-growing financial difficulties. We now face a great flood of fear and confusion about what to do to survive the storm.
The Ever-Increasing Demands of Faith
What is it about faith that keeps demanding of us greater testings? Why do our afflictions grow more intense, more severe, the closer we get to Christ? Just when we come through one trial that proves us faithful, our heart declaring, “Lord, I will trust you for everything,” here comes another test, increased in its intensity.
This experience is shared by Christians all over the world. I see it in all my travels, from continent to continent, and our ministry regularly receives letters from readers who testify of a growing intensity in their trials.

I am led of the Holy Spirit to give you some powerful promises from God’s Word, to keep and protect you and your family in the chaotic days ahead.

Psalm 17:7–8, “Show thy marvelous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.”
When God Comes Down
God is calling the people in the the body of Christ to begin to stir themselves up for the latter rain. When we choose to wait in the Lord the Holy spirit will bring our focus back to Jesus and winning lost souls. When the Holy Ghost comes down there are three evidences. First, He will renew our hunger for the presence of Jesus and put an expectation in our heart. Second, there will be an outbreak of gladness that is indescribable in its power. And last, the body of Christ will be awakened to the coming of the Lord. Our prayer will be, "Come Lord Jesus, come!"
