For over 50 years and in more than 50 countries, World Challenge Missions has helped spread Christ's love and extend his tender mercies to the poorest of the poor.

As you look at the face of this child, you're seeing the face of an entire generation. Left to die, barely breathing, Michael was found by our team in the slums of Baseco, Philippines.

Two hundred years of poverty and devastation had left Haiti in near ruin. Generations of Haitians had lived in perpetual poverty. Many had nothing to start with—and now the massive earthquake in January has taken untold thousands of lives.

After four deadly hurricanes last year, Haiti is now reeling from a massive earthquake. Untold thousands have lost their lives, people are still in the rubble and multitudes are sleeping on the streets. World Challenge is moving to respond to the desperate cry of these people.

For over forty years World Challenge has been feeding, clothing, educating and meeting the needs of thousands of poor children, orphans and prisoners in strategic areas around the world.

The war in Uganda has ended, but the massive crisis has left in its wake overwhelming human suffering and need.
