Two hundred years of poverty and devastation had left Haiti in near ruin. Generations of Haitians had lived in perpetual poverty. Many had nothing to start with—and now the massive earthquake in January has taken untold thousands of lives.

After four deadly hurricanes last year, Haiti is now reeling from a massive earthquake. Untold thousands have lost their lives, people are still in the rubble and multitudes are sleeping on the streets. World Challenge is moving to respond to the desperate cry of these people.
