City of Refuge: Medellin, Colombia
Foundation City of Refuge is located in Medellin, Colombia. It is a non-profit organization committed to re-socializing homeless adults in the city and metropolitan area. Their work is based upon biblical principles by which they re-establish man's relationship with God and his surroundings. This is complemented with job-skills training to help them develop marketable skills. City of Refuge also holds church services for the homeless and the displaced on Sunday mornings at the rehabilitation center where over 100 people attend.
Global Teen Challenge
Bringing the hope and healing of Christ to addicts worldwide
For forty years, the ministry of Teen Challenge has been a beacon for the power of the gospel, transforming the lives of drug addicts and alcoholics worldwide.
As founder of Teen Challenge in Brooklyn, New York, in 1958, I never could have imagined how the Lord would use this ministry. From New York City, Teen Challenge spread across America, where there are now more than 200 centers.
