As you read this, unheralded men and women all over the globe are laboring with devotion for Christ's gospel. Some serve in the poorest and most hostile countries in the world.

For the past forty years, World Challenge has obeyed God's call to care for the poorest of the poor and to proclaim his Good News to unreached multitudes.

A woman once reached out and touched Jesus as he was walking by. In response, Jesus healed her, restoring her body to health after a lifetime of suffering.

Thanks to your prayers and generous support, there are now 38 local pastors serving, evangelizing and planting churches among Cambodia's unreached peoples. Another 9 pastors, fully supported by this ministry, have recently been launched into northern Cambodia to plant churches.

On May 2, 2008, Cyclone Nargis swept through Myanmar, taking the lives of 85,000 people. Even today, 54,000 people remain missing.

During its devastating twenty-year civil war, Northern Uganda suffered indescribable horrors of mass deaths, widespread destruction and extreme poverty. The ever-present violence caused nearly 95 percent of the population to be displaced.

When my father, David Wilkerson, began working with drug addicts on the streets of New York in the 1950s, he had no idea how far-reaching and life-transforming that humble ministry in Brooklyn would become.
