The Touch of God by David Wilkerson

The Spoils of Spiritual Warfare

Spoils are plunder, goods, or loot won in battle. We all face battles and testings in our lives. God wants to give us something out of all our battles and tests. His interest is not just to give us victory but to cause us to come out of the battle with spoils — to make us more than conquerors. God builds resources in us through the battles — resources of spiritual power and authority that we can give to others when they face a battle.

A Call to Anguish

Anguish is extreme pain, distress, or sorrow. Whatever happened to anguish in the house of God? You don’t hear about it in this pampered age. More of the world is coming into, and taking over, the church than the church is impacting the world. So many times we say to God, "This time you’ve touched me for life. I’ll never be the same." It’s just all fireworks, a loud band and a lot of noise, and then it dies. All true passion is born out of anguish.

Open Hearts, Hungry Hearts in Europe

In May when Pastor Dave and his son Gary ministered at pastors' conferences in Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland, they found thousands of church leaders and their spouses deeply hungry for God and eager for a fresh touch. Many had been discouraged and struggling in countries with widespread despair and spiritual dryness. "We're really in need," confessed one minister from Wales, Chris Cartwright.

Our policy is that all gifts designated for a specific project be applied to that project. Occasionally we receive more funds than can be wisely used for the designated project. When that happens, we use those funds to meet other similar pressing needs in the same country to advance the gospel.
