2010 World Challenge Support of Teen Challenge Centers


In Guatemala, a group of adults busy themselves fabricating wood frames they will eventually sell. In Portugal, a similar group runs a metal shop, a laundry and a bakery. In Siberia, adults make jewelry for income and mentor the young people who assist them. In Swaziland, a group of families—some of whom have HIV/AIDs, including children—cultivate land and participate in a fish farm. Groups in Kenya and Israel are equally industrious.

Beacons of Hope in Africa


This past year the nation of Africa continued to see hungry children die in their mothers arms, babies suffering with HIV/AIDS, civil wars, and economic meltdowns. Yet in the midst of this horrific darkness stand men and women of God
