COVER LETTER
Dearly Beloved:
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF OUR BLESSED LORD.
We have just returned from our All-Arab Summit in Amman, Jordan. Pastors came from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, Morocco, Sudan, Iraq and Jordan. A number of these pastors came at great personal risk, especially the delegation from Iraq.
God answered the prayers of those who prayed for this summit from all over the world. Jesus manifested his presence in every meeting. The Holy Spirit was in complete control throughout all the sessions. The love of God among these pastors and missionaries was something to behold.
The Holy Spirit is truly doing miraculous wonders throughout Arab nations. Iraqi pastors told us their country became one of the “most open” nations to the gospel in the world. Web sites boldly proclaim the gospel, and millions are responding in these nations. Many are coming to Christ through dreams and visions, encounters with Jesus that cannot be ignored.
It was too risky for these pastors to tell publicly what God is doing in their nations, but in closed, high-security sessions we heard the testimonies of many. They reported that multitudes of Islamics are turning to Jesus, most of them reached through the Internet. These converts have to speak to one another in code. Pray that Holy Spirit awakenings happen in all Arab nations.
We also rejoice in what God is doing in the orphanages that our ministry helps support around the world. Many hundreds are being healed emotionally, physically and spiritually. In Kenya, we have provided funds to establish a drug-and-alcohol rehab program in the capital city of Nairobi. We also help fund Kenya Kids orphanages and a feeding program. Other outreaches in Kenya are being undertaken.
In various poor nations, our ministry is building small houses and schools in the most needy areas. We are putting roofs on newly established churches in poverty centers, and supporting pastors and churches in slum areas.
I have personally been blessed to be engaged in all of these ministries to widows, the fatherless, the hungry, the addicted, the orphaned and the poor, for over fifty years. And throughout these decades, God has provided the funds through prayer and faith.
Your missions gifts to this ministry go very far, reaching all these charitable works that are so close to the heart of Jesus. We thank you for caring, and for your prayers and gifts in helping us to continue doing the Father’s work.
In Christ,
DAVID WILKERSON
