Armenia - Pastors' Conference 2005
Armenia is a small nation that few Americans have heard of and even fewer can find it on the map. But on God's map, this country is in one of the most strategic places in the world. Surrounded by hard-line Muslim nations, this ancient Christian nation has sent forth workers into their neighboring countries. Those who went risk their lives to loving the Gospel of Jesus.
We met some of these men during the conference. One pastor shared that he took over the leadership of his church, not because his pastor left for another church or retired but because his pastor was martyred.
These underground pastors wept during most of the conference. They were so blessed that someone would come to encourage them. Please pray for the Armenians as they continue to reach their own people and to send missionaries to their bordering countries.
