Dearly Beloved:

A WORD FROM THE CHIEF SHEPHERD.

To his flock of sheep, Jesus said, "I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand" (John 10:28-29).

I find such hope and rest when I know I am in the Lord's hand. No man and no devil can pluck me out of his hand.

When Satan comes at us like a flood — bringing waves of fear, discouragement and lies — we can rest in this glorious truth: GOD GAVE US TO JESUS.

Christ will see us through our hard times. Hear his words in the innermost part of your soul: "My Father gave you to me. You are mine."

When we are at a low point, we must not think of quitting. We are to hold fast to our position in Christ. Above all the conflicting voices, all the floods of fears, we can know this: The Father who gave us to Jesus, for now and for eternity, has obligated himself to see us through.

Encourage yourself in the Lord.

Your prayers and financial support are greatly appreciated and needed at this time. Thank you for your faithfulness to our worldwide ministries to the poor, needy, widowed and fatherless. For information on these many outreaches visit our website: www.worldchallenge.org/missions.

In Christ,
DAVID WILKERSON
