COVER LETTER
Dearly Beloved:
DO YOU NEED AN INFUSION OF STRENGTH?
In prayer last night, I felt impressed to send out a word about God’s promises to give strength to his people when they need it. I have listed below some of these promises. I am convinced many reading this need to believe and appropriate these promises today.
-
Psalm 18:2, 31, 39 — “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower…. Who is God save the Lord? Or who is a rock save our God?… Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.”
-
Psalm 20:6 — “Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.”
-
Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
-
Psalm 28:7-8 — “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.”
-
Psalm 29:11 — “The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.”
-
Psalm 37:39-40 — “The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.”
-
Psalm 68:28, 35 — “Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us…. O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people.”
-
Psalm 71:16, 18 — “I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only…. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.”
-
Psalm 84:5, 7 — “Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them…. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”
-
Psalm 86:16-17 — “O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me.”
-
Psalm 138:3 — “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.”
-
Psalm 148:14 — “He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.”
May God give you a mighty baptism of his strength even this day. His Word will accomplish this in your heart. Your prayers and financial support are greatly appreciated and needed at this time. Thank you.
In Christ,
DAVID WILKERSON
