David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.

David Wilkerson 9.16.10 Listen Watch HQ

In the eighth and final session of our EXPECT 2010 Church Leadership Conference, Pastor David Wilkerson shares his heart about the importance of minimizing our distractions and busyness, setting aside time each day to be alone with the Lord and seek His face. He encourages this generation to overcome their technology addiction — put down your gadgets, log off Facebook, and take a break from tweeting on Twitter to spend serious time every day in prayer.

David Wilkerson 4.4.10 Listen Watch HQ

This message is for those who are on a search for peace and hope but you are experiencing emptiness and guilt because of the sin in your life. Maybe you are trying to figure out a way to “get to” God and pay Him back for all the sins you committed. The good news is that Jesus is the Lamb of God; the perfect sacrifice for all mankind. If you simply come to Jesus and believe His Word you will be forgiven. There is a cry in the heart of God to draw His people into His love and peace. All you need is found in Jesus the Lamb of God!

David Wilkerson 3.21.10 Listen Watch HQ

This message is for those who are on the brink of falling into a pit of despair, you hit a wall and you are overwhelmed. In these times our faith cannot be based on emotion. We have to lay hold of who God is and believe what God says about Himself. Go to Jesus and ask Him for a manifestation of His love, faithfulness and power. Ask Him for guidance and direction. You will always hear Jesus say I love you, don’t be afraid! Don't lose your fight, God will show up in your situation.

Why We Can’t Afford to Be Normal 4.22.13
Web PDF TXT

To some readers, the statement I’m about to make will sound bold. To others it will sound obvious. Either way, it’s a commentary on the church I’d rather not have to make. That is, most Christians are powerless.

Consider what “normal” Christianity looks like today in the typical believer. This person is a bit self-seeking, a little materialistic, somewhat consumerist. Most of his daily choices are about improving his life. That includes his spiritual pursuits, from his church groups to the podcasts he downloads to the seminars he attends.

The Future 4.1.13
Web PDF TXT

The main question on the lips of multitudes worldwide is, “What is going on? There is fear and panic everywhere. Economies are being shaken all over the globe. What will our future look like?”

As followers of Jesus, we know the only reliable answers are in God’s Word. The world’s experts — economists, government leaders, academics — all admit they are confused. Nobody can tell us why bubbles are bursting or how we went from a booming economy to sudden crashes.

EXPECT is a simple conference with a profound expectation: that in these few days your life and ministry will be infused with a new and fresh faith to expect and attempt greater things.

Imagine what could happen if we put aside our small hopes, nagging self-doubts, and dreamless existence and became engaged in revolutionary faith. If something in us is transformed and we begin to unwaveringly expect from God the greatest things imaginable, our lives will never be the same.
