This vice and violence filled city of almost 4 million was rapidly decaying from within, with thousands of lives captured by addiction but ten’s of thousands of family members and society paying the price. City of Refuge: Colombia
Foundation City of Refuge is located in Medellin, Colombia. It is a non-profit organization committed to re-socializing homeless adults in the city and metropolitan area. Their work is based upon biblical principles by which they re-establish man's relationship with God and his surroundings. This is complemented with job-skills training to help them develop marketable skills. City of Refuge also holds church services for the homeless and the displaced on Sunday mornings at the rehabilitation center where over 100 people attend.
