Fourth Update from Japan03/30/2011 — World Challenge Missions |

This is the fourth update from the directors of Teen Challenge Japan on the aftermath of the earthquake which hit Japan on March 11th 2011:
The Holy Spirit guided us to go and help the people in Sendai, the tsunami-hit area. God allowed us to gather goods which were getting impossible to buy even in Tokyo. The people used their initiative, money, time and energy, and we are now ready to bring the immediate relief goods.
Moreover, in Japan, the use of the motorway is restricted to emergency vehicles after a big earthquake. Yet, the Lord enabled us to get the permit (at 4:45 on Friday!) so we can use the motorway. Praise the Lord!!
The pastor’s family whose church and house got washed away managed to rent an apartment, but four of them are in one room, and they have absolutely nothing, so we are bringing food and cooking tools as well as new sets of clothes.
We are also bringing food, petrol, kerosene and other stuff to Izumi Gospel Chapel which is trying to help those in their community but is running out of things to give.
Please pray for the success and safety of our mission — the first of the many.
