William Carrol 2.8.09 Listen

If we as Christian people are going to pray for mercy in our generation we must first be recipients of God's mercy. The more convinced we are of God's mercy the more we can pray with conviction. God's covenant mercy manifests itself in the salvation of our souls. When we embrace this wonderful salvation we can begin to pray, "God show the world your saving power, your covenant of mercy and your powerful protection." When God chooses to be merciful to a generation the devil is powerless and people are saved!

The Christmas season for many is a time of loneliness and discouragement. There is a moment in everyone's life when God will come and whisper His truth in our hearts, that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE when Christ is at the center of our lives. God has the power to break us into pieces and consume us, and He would be be completely justified in doing so, but it is not in His heart to do so. Christmas is a season that reminds us that no matter how many times we fail Him, He sent His son Jesus to carry us through our journey. God walks with those who walk with Him.

Ben Crandall 1.22.08 Listen

This message is a call to break through the darkness through the POWER of PRAYER. In turbulent times like these, God does not want us to be shaken with fear and discouragement. Hard times will not take us under when we put our trust in Jesus. It's time to seek the Lord with all our heart and lay aside every weight so we can combat the darkness. Our source is God and He will reveal His greatness and pour out His Spirit on all flesh.

Anguish is extreme pain, distress, or sorrow. Whatever happened to anguish in the house of God? You don’t hear about it in this pampered age. More of the world is coming into, and taking over, the church than the church is impacting the world. So many times we say to God, "This time you’ve touched me for life. I’ll never be the same." It’s just all fireworks, a loud band and a lot of noise, and then it dies. All true passion is born out of anguish.

There is a spiritual wall that separates those who are truly serving God and those who are bringing carnality into His church. If God is going to be honored in this generation we must begin to rebuild the testimony of Christ in our lives. You may ask yourself how does this happen? How do I begin to rebuild this wall?

The Holy Spirit has always existed — even at the foundations of the world “the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2). There are many examples in Biblical history of God pouring out His Spirit, but mankind either misses it, or in their carnal nature twists it to fulfill their own selfish desires. Even today the church continues to miss and twist the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit. We do what we want and call it the Spirit. We manipulate the Spirit to make ourselves what we want to be rather than what God wants us to be.

Judgment is not the only message of Jesus Christ to the lost in the last days. We are to be messengers of hope to a fearful society. We must take a position of faith in Jesus Christ, fully determined to lay all our burdens at His feet and leave them there. The message of the Church of Jesus Christ in times of calamities such as these is a people that will choose to take a position in faith and offer hope to the hopeless.
